The Continued Story of Jimmy Ledges
Golden, Colorado: February 8-9, 2015

In August, we got a new sink - Almond Kohler's brother, Cobalt Kohler, a.k.a. "Jimmy Ledges".
During the fall, Mike cleaned and re-sealed the grout in the shower, and re-caulked the shower door. It was time to get the project rolling again....

Mike's cousin, Robert, came over to help us get going again - he fixed the wall and installed the tile backsplash.
"Installing" included hand cutting angled tiles. Here's Mike and Robert outside with the tile saw:

Cirrus was very interested in the whole process.


 
Muggins was installed in his fortress of solitude:

I like having the blue in the corner. At the risk of being cliché, "It really ties the room together".
Seriously, all the blue stuff was on the far end of the room, and only a blue towel had been in the corner with the sink.

 
After Robert left, Muggins came out of hiding and Cirrus relaxed to some Metallica:

Robert finished the grout - all done! Now we just need to paint and put the new carpet in.
