Karen and her hubby had a second child, Jared. We received the birth announcement via email:

Jared Francisco Galang was born on January 2, 2006 at 7:48 AM in Torrance, CA. He weighed in at 8 lbs, 5 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. Jared and his Mommy are doing well.
