27 years!
I took a break from working on the lunar lander for a lovely lunch at the Balistreri Winery.

That evening and weekend, we did the Celestial Map puzzle Auntie Linda gave us for our birthdays. As usual, the parts I think are easy are the ones Mike finds hard, and vice versa. We make a great team!
We also learned that there is a Giraffe constellation over Green Mountain at night. We'll never see it due to light pollution, but it is there.

Mike completed the Milky Way with jokes that he didn't want me to be scared. As a native Long Islander, I grew up with very few constellations - they were easy to find! When we
lived in Los Angeles, you could see Orion and the Big Dipper... and that was about it. Even in Colorado, we have plenty of light pollution. And I like it that way.
It is my normal. A few times in my life, I have been somewhere dark enough to actually see the Milky Way, and I have absolutely literally panicked every time.
When we stopped to see the stars in Wyoming after the eclipse in 2017, I went from "oh neat!" to diving back into the car in seconds. Thus, the joke about the puzzle... I was not scared of the puzzle,
but thanks to my hubby for the "consideration". *grin*
