My original plan fell through due to a marathon closing most areas downtown, so we took a drive to see something other than all the tourist spots. Itinerary for the day:
Going north to avoid the marathon route...
Old neighborhood on a hill, larger houses, attached garages.
Lunch time! We stopped at a little outdoor mall area near Aspen Pond.
Mike noted that this tree is mislabeled...

Headed to the second neighbrhood - which was south of the other one.
Shopping break!
Unfortunately, this was Mike's coke because I didn't want one, and yet it became "share a coke with Kari".
Last neighborhood - this is new construction at the south end of the city. Mike found it terrifying - highly dense housing in the middle of nowhere.
TIME TO ESCAPE!
Heading to downtown...

Back at the hotel, I checked out our 13th floor patio area. Really nice! ... and yes, I said 13th floor. Unlike American buildings,
this one didn't pretend the floors jumped from 12 to 14 due to superstition.
