The day started with the HOA BBQ in my parent's neighborhood and dessert back at their house. They have lovely lillies! They also had a birthday present for Mike.
After that, we stopped by Mike's parents' house to answer a question about a plant and see their new awning. We also got to see a giant bumble bee:
On the way home, we stopped at Mike's lab:
We had a visitor on our deck when we got home....
I had already seen the pigeon on the ring camera downstairs:

Picture of the dry field behind our house that I sent to a friend in Texas... hope people behave with their fireworks that they're not supposed to have.
Pictures I sent to a friend when we were discussing my Ukranian heritage... the icon and cross are from my great Aunt Mary. She had bought them for her mother (my great grandmother).
Photo is also from her - my great grandmother, mom, me, and my brother. (My dad took that picture a long time ago...)
