The Colorado School of Mines hosted an evening dinner event to celebrate the success of the fundraising event, "Mines@150", which was started in honor of the school's 150th year of existence. We
are almumni, have an endowed scholarship, are Century Society members, and Heritage Soctiety members (gift to Mines included in our will), so of course we were part of the party!
Beautiful evening on campus...

Inside Lockridge Arena...

So cool!

Baby Blaster (Blaster is a real donkey and the school mascot) - I got him from the Athletics Department.

The two people who led the whole thing - CSM President Paul Johnson and Brian Winkelbauer, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Mines Foundation.

After the dinner, we headed over to the Physics building. Mike gave me a tour of his other lab.

This is the machine causing him so much trouble lately. *grin*

We found Amy's cart! Say hello to "Skippy the Wonder Cart"!

Headed to the basement - Dan Clark used to hate his "fishbowl lab" at the end of the hall.

You know you're in the basement of the physics building because the floor is green.... so green. Why? No one knows.

Back outside - the "M" on the mountain has been transformed (to a hat?) in honor of "Engineering Days" (E-Days).

Over to Hill Hall (Materials Science building) to check on Mike's regular lab. Baby Blaster said hi to the residents of Mike's lab.
