The Colorado School of Mines Alumni association hosted an alumni event for Heritage Society and President's Council members at the school's Geology Museum. Once upon a time in the early 1990's, Mike used to work as a tour guide at the museum (in its previous location). Nice event, and it's always fun to wander around the museum
In homage to the show, "Between to Ferns", this is "Between Two Geodes".
I am an 80's girl at heart.... glow in the dark minerals? Yes, please.
After the museum, we had dinner at Sherpa House.
After dinner, we stopped by Mike's lab to check on his new test apparatus, "Piggy".
Back home, watching the wind blow through the grasses in the open space area. The gardens are establishing nicely. All but one of the perennials survived the winter.
