The first thing we saw was a sparse forrest of really cool trained trees - including trees in training.
Now that we had a working camera again, we went just a couple of miles from the hotel to see Edo Castle and the Imperial Gardens.

Mike took this picture of me on the train heading back to the hotel, because he thought the humidity
had left me absolutely bedraggled. When he saw the picture later, he said I didn't look as bad as he had thought.
