In our past trips to Vancouver, we have stayed in the downtown area. For this trip, we decided to hang out in a different part of the greater metro area.
So, we stayed in Richmond, just to the south of the airport. Driving around reminded us of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. There were some older
neighborhoods that had a little more space, but everything else was so cramped. Construction everwhere. $3 million houses - for what? Mike found driving around
very stressful and was reminded why I drove everywhere for the 5 years we live in Los Angeles. (As a native New Yorker, I am dead inside when it comes to traffic. Except
for that one day I decided I had had enough of the 405 and started my job search to leave Los Angeles. but that's a story for another day...)

If you know Mike, then you know Tuesday is wing day! Richmond has wings, too. This place was perfect - they had wings for Mike and pierogies with salad for me!
