So beautiful. This is a real croissant at the breakfast buffet. People ask me if it tasted as good as it looked. I don't know the answer to that, because ...I just couldn't. And apparently neither could anyone else, for quite some time.
It eventually disappeared, so it did not go to waste.

Cloudy morning...weather blows through Luxembourg quickly, almost like Denver used to be. We carried umbrellas with us everywhere because there were routinely 10-minute periods when they were needed.

Leaving the hotel to go visit ispace's Luxembourg office!

The buses in Luxembourg are free! Just hop on and hop off.

They are nice inside:

And so begins another tale about how I can't read instructions... walking from the bus stop to what I thought was the ispace office.

ta da!

um, nope...fortunately, given my propensity to not read instructions, I had printed the instructions that said "don't go to the old office address. It is under construction. We moved.".

Walking around to the real office

We had a lovely visit with the ispace Luxembourg office. As we got there, they asked if I was planning to transfer, and I cheerfully said "Maybe!"
(future pages in 2026 will explain that I was soon to learn that, alas no, I will not be working there. or at least not getting there in a linear fashion. Best laid plans and all that...A hard 6 months that ended well.)
Anyhow, we had a 4-hour visit and went to lunch with them at a Peruvian restaurant nearby:

After our ispace visit, we hopped on a different bus and went to visit the city center.

Big news! Here is the answer to every question asked in first-year French class... "Ou est la bibliotheque?" - "ici!"
For anyone who didn't take a foreign language class in the U.S., for whatever reason, one of the first things we learn is to ask where the library is.
Yes, that is the sole reason I took this picture. You're welcome.

Moving on...
