See Here, Private Hargrove is the title of a book by journalist Marion Hargrove, published in 1942. It is the author's personal story about becoming a soldier. Published during World War II, the light-hearted book was a hit with readers, spending 15 weeks atop the New York Times Best Seller list. It was still in print 50 years after its original publication date. The story was made into a film in 1944 and starred Robert Walker, Robert Benchley and Keenan Wynn.
