I was out for my evening walk and everything looked so prfect that I couldn't help
going home to get the camera and tripod. The first picture is a view of Table Mountain, as seen from the top of
Ford Hill. Downtown Golden lies to the right, and Coors to the left. The second picture is of the "M" on Mt. Zion (for the Colorado
School of Mines), as seen from Washington Avenue. The "M" is constructed of many large rocks carried by freshman up the side of
the mountain. At night, you don't see the white-washed rocks, just the lights that run along the outline. Mike's
great-grandfather ran the original set of lights around the "M" many years ago.
