Golden at Night
Golden, Colorado: April 23, 2005

I was out for my evening walk and everything looked so prfect that I couldn't help going home to get the camera and tripod. The first picture is a view of Table Mountain, as seen from the top of Ford Hill. Downtown Golden lies to the right, and Coors to the left. The second picture is of the "M" on Mt. Zion (for the Colorado School of Mines), as seen from Washington Avenue. The "M" is constructed of many large rocks carried by freshman up the side of the mountain. At night, you don't see the white-washed rocks, just the lights that run along the outline. Mike's great-grandfather ran the original set of lights around the "M" many years ago.
