View of Downtown Denver from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science
Denver, Colorado: March 11, 2015

I took a day off to enjoy spring break with Mike. In the afternoon, we went to the Denver Museum of Nature and
Science to see the "Travel ling the Silk Road" exhibit with Mike's parents. The exhibit was great- very educational, particularly with
regard to the production of silk. I had no idea that one silk worm cocoon could produce 3,000 feet of thread! After the exhibit, we
came back to our house for homemade super bird sandwiches (turkey, bacon, tomato, shredded Monterrey Jack in grilled cheese format.)

It was a great day that felt like a whole weekend! ..,until I woke up to go back to work Thursday morning.

Here are pictures from before we went to see the exhibit - Mike and I spent some time enjoying the warm sunshine outside the museum
while we waited for his parents to join us.
