February 1, 2006: Crazy
2006 has a rough start for Phoebe. On January 28, Phoebe started acting strangely. We weren't sure what to make of the pout, since
she had been bugging us incessantly to go outside.
By February 1, it was clear she wasn't feeling well when she started sitting in the tub - including when I was taking a shower. Here she is sitting in the tub:
and storming out of the bedroom because I won't let her outside:
Several vet trips and an ultrasound later, we found that she had a stomach infection and an inflammation on the pancreas. Some antibiotics and a different kind of cat food helped her out a little, but she's still not quite her normal self.

We lost Phoebe on March 5, after extended illness. It's hard to part with the sweetest munchkin in the world and her cute little pink nose.
