Mini Wall
Golden, Colorado: May, 2006

Using the same blocks as we used for the retaining wall last year, we are buiding a mini wall along the back of the house to help clean that area up a bit. Here's the trench for the wall on May 15th:

Here is the single layer of blocks we will use for the mini wall, as seen on May 20th. Note the corner - hand-cut blocks by Mike! He also put in the higher window wells for the 3 basement windows.

The next steps will include caps for the blocks (almost the same depth as those half-lites), weedblock, and a layer of the same white rocks we used on the side of the planters and around the shed.
