Cards for Mike's Surgery from Maddie and Val
Golden, Colorado: August 7, 2014

Mike had ENT surgery on August 7th - septum fixed, tonsils removed, the shape of his palate changed. Our nieces were
worried about him and made cute cards with get-well wishes. Mike liked that he was so thin in the cards...to their credit,
he did lose 14 pounds in the week following the surgery! The cards must have worked - everything healed well.
